I’m Simas Staniukaitis, an actor with a playing age of 16-30. Originally from Lithuania, I began my acting journey in school theater, which sparked my passion for performance and led me to 6 Pojūčiai Theatre, where I built a strong foundation in acting. From there, I moved to Young Blood Acting School, where I launched my career through numerous short films, collaborating with emerging directors. This experience paved the way for my studies at the University of the Arts London.
In recent years, I’ve had the chance to take on a variety of exciting roles. I just finished filming a Musical Video for a Lithuanian group called Baltic Balkans, where I am the protagonist, I played Melvin in Billionaire Love Crash and a Mobster in I Left Him for a Mountain Man (both directed by Algina Bedulskė, 2024). I’ve also appeared in promotional content as a Millionaire (2024) and as a Zombie in the short film My Wonderful Apocalypse (2023). A significant moment in my career was playing Prisoner in Catherine the Great (directed by Philip Martin, 2019), where I had the opportunity to work alongside Helen Mirren. This experience sparked my passion for acting even more, deepening my commitment to my craft.
My background in various accents and my 9 months of military service as a Scout have equipped me with a unique blend of adaptability, focus, and resilience. I have received comprehensive training that has expanded my understanding of the craft, allowing me to approach characters with depth and nuance. Fluent in Lithuanian, Spanish, and English, I can embody a range of roles. Additionally, my passion for Salsa and Folk Dance, combined with my skills in athletics and singing, enhances my ability to portray characters with authenticity and energy.
My passion is working towards a better understanding of the art world and making exceptional movies that inspire and emotionally reach others. Acting continually pushes me to grow, and I’m excited to see where it takes me next.
