Greta Petrovskytė is а Lithuanian theatre and cinema actress.
Graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under Oskaras
Koršunovas in 2015. While still studying at the academy, she created a leading role in Lithuanian national drama theatre, performance “Jelizaveta Bam” based on the play by Daniil Charms (Dir. Oskaras Koršunovas)
After that she started work as an actress in various Lithuanian theaters. She is a winner of the prize “Golden Stage Cross” (2016) which is the highest theater award in Lithuania.
She has also created several roles in short length movies. The film "Igloo" by Marija
Kavtaradze and Vytautas Katkus. Became the "short film of the year". (Kinfo award, 2016, LIthuania)
Her debut in cinema was a long length movie “Weddings' ' (Dir. Vygantas Bachmackij)
where she played the bride's sister, a young girl who falls in love. (2018)
The last work at the cinema was “Generation of evil” (Dir. Emilis Vėlyvis) where Greta plays a daughter of the lead character (2021)
At the present she is waiting to premiere the newest work “Twittering Soul” . (Dir. Deimantas
Narkevičius). It’s a first movie about 19th century lithuanian folklore filmed using 3D technology
Greta is fluent in Lithuanian, English and Russian.
