Rūta Jonikaitė was born on 12 July 2000 in Kaunas. In 2024 she graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) with a Bachelor's degree in Acting, under the supervision of Gintaras Varnas. She plays roles in various Lithuanian theatres (Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, National Kaunas Drama Theatre, Youth Theatre, Kaunas City Chamber Theatre). From 2024 she is an actress of the Youth Theatre.
